Impressed with the Leafs so far. Still think the Caps come back and win in 7, though.

Simply stunned how poor Chicago has looked. Nashville has been great and absolutely deserves to be up 3-0.

Pretty crazy how many games have gone to OT so far.

Well....the Sharks sure taught the Oilers a thing or two about what it takes to win in the playoffs tonight....gonna be very interesting to see how the Oilers react in Game 5, especially if they give up the first goal.

yes, very impressed with Toronto, the kids are really playing...
ESPN had a great article about the penguins being young, etc prior to a cup win
these kids believe they belong

Is this the first time a #1 seed gets swept?

Got to know Pete Lavioltte back in 1999 when he coached the Providence Bruins to their 1st Calder Cup Championship, great guy and coach very happy for him

Huge accomplishment sweeping the Blackhawks!

Nashville and especially Rinne were great in this series.

Still can't fathom the Chicago/Nashville series. Man, didn't except anything like that.

Surprised the Rangers are up. I had picked the Habs in 6.

Also, props to the Ducks for such an effort vs Calgary.

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!

Yes. First time #8 has swept a #1.

But technically, Blues swept the Hawks in 1993, but seeding was based on divisions rather than conferences. The Blues were technically a #4 seed in the division, but were the eighth best team in the conference.

Blackhawks fans may not see us as historically significant enough to be a rival, but they're easily our most hated rival. Makes it that much sweeter.

Done watching hockey this year, Hawks are done LOL (j/k). Their inability to score finally caught up to them. Nashville was a much faster team, and the Hawks stars were nonexistent. Glad I didn't go to the games at the United Center.

As a Hawks fan, the only team I truly have that rival hatred for is St Louis. I've always kinda liked Nashville, but man do they hate the Hawks. Doesn't bother me though, b/c when you win enough people get sick of your team and want them to crash and burn. Congrats to the Preds for making most other NHL fans happy, lol.

The Rangers are such a Jekyl and Hyde team. After Montreal won game 3, I did not expect very much from the Rangers. Very surprised that they are in the position that they are in.

Hopefully they can close the Habs out in Game 6. Fingers crossed.

Is anyone else as excited as I am with the Edmonton Oilers!!!!!

What a great comeback considering they were blown out 2 nights earlier.

Last night after falling behind 3-1, they tie the game late then win it with 2 min. left in OT, Desharnais (old man on team with Maroon & Lucic) played his ass off last night really enjoy watching this young team and hope they finish it in Game 6.

The Nashville crowd was really into it last night, laughed my ass off with the "Crawford, Crawford...............you suck", chant late in the 3rd.

TASS: We do that for every goal we score. It's definitely not reserved for Crawford haha. When the goal is announced, the chant is: "[Insert name of goalie] [name of goalie] [name of goalie], he shoots, he scores, you SUCK! It's all your fault! It's all your fault! It's all your fault! [name of goalie] [name of goalie], you suck!" We probably aren't the classiest fans, but it's hilarious.

ewilkens: Being a really good organization is definitely the key to being hated. Although there are quite a few Blackhawks I actually like. I love Jonathan Toews' game. I also think Duncan Keith is amazing...and he was doing his best to get y'all back in the game last night with his possession and physical play. That said, like most Nashville fans, I absolutely abhor Patrick Kane. It's amazing that he gets booed each time he gets the puck in Bridgestone...and was also booed during the All-Star Game, when he represented the West.

2 straight 1st round exits for the Hawks. Time to fire Quenneville.

Just curious when someone is held accountable for the horrible goaltender interference calls we have seen the last couple nights. That dumb call last night against Columbus basically cost them the game with the momentum they had at the time. The night before in the Caps/Leafs game they called interference on Backstrom and Anderson was holding on to him.

Never is the answer. The refs have been real bad at times and have totally changed outcomes of games. But the NHL has never really held them all that accountable. They may not use them in the next round, but that's all the public will ever hear about it. No different than Crosby being enabled by the NHL to cup check guys from behind and smash fingers.

Oddly enough, I also hate Patrick Kane. He's a really good hockey player, but I feel so dirty cheering for him.
