Didn't say anything about a pissing contest. If you have a problem with me, speak up!

Sure sounds like you want a pissing contest. Sorry, I don't have time to help you with your reading comprehension skills.

You always seem to have time to run off with your mouth about everything else. Good thing you have the time to make sure folks are spelling and putting proper sentences together.
Grow some balls pal.

OK, so he has an offer for $2500 and you offer $2000. Time and again you lowball offers on the message board. This time I called you on it and now you tell me to grow some balls?

You show exactly what you are with that kind of post. Someone who is trying to take advantage of another board member. Remember we have younger collectors here now, lets behave like it please.

I hope I spelled it out clearly enough for you this time. This place used to be the major leagues of sports card case-breaker message boards. Lately it feels a lot like A ball.

cubfan sold his Howe Property of from this year's Cup for $2780. Good on ya Cubbie, I would have put it in Huggins and Scott but a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush and 3/4 of one from Kobemagee.

When do I put "lowball offers" in?
Plain and simple, I offer what i'm willing to pay! If you have a problem with that, I don't now what to tell you. There are people on here that ask to much for there cards. I've bought cards from numerous members and didn't think there was a problem. If I have offended anybody, that wasn't or isn't my intentions.
Regardless,I don't need you acussing me of some B.S.
Do you ever see me or anybody else complain about how all you do is whin about members spelling and there grammar.

Point taken, I should let my friends present themselves as fools to the rest of the world. My mistake.

As far as the lowball offer, I overreacted. I'm on hour 36 of work on a brutal case in the last two days and really, really need to throw back a cold one.

Have fun at the national.

I promise to be more rational when this case is over.

Not looking to create a problem with you, just didn't care for the comment you was making. I didn't think offering him $2000 was any big deal. I figured if he sold it to someone on Ebay, he pays the ebay fee's, paypal fee's and has the worries of sending the card out. Sorry if I offended you Cubsfan

I'd tell you but then I'd have to kill you... LOL

No, just a tax case. Nothing real interesting. A few years ago I represented Spearmint Rhino. Should've worn gloves working with their documents.

The Spearmint Rhino in Vegas is outstanding...maybe we should send some of the youngsters on here to make men out of them.

You did not get enough - I just came from the National and there are 90% of dealers there who deal in modern cards that would have plenty of cash for this deal. There are some very high end dealers that would have paid more in cash for this one than you got. If you are happy then that is cool though.

BTW I saw the Mt Rushmore Quad cut from UD this year on a dealers table at the show tonight - I am quite sure that he could have come up with plenty for the Howe...

I would imagine there is a TON of cash at nationals. I would imagine cash would be the preferred method of payment.
