Default Ovechkin drops the gloves!!
Coming soon to the fight thread, tonight's fight between WAS/NYR as Ovechkin dropped his gloves and went after Dubinsky.

I'll add video from HF once they load it on their site. Figured there would be enough banter on this one for its own thread.

No offense to any NYR fans but Dubinsky looks like the boy who got his tongue stuck to the pole in "A Christmas Story". Figures Ovechkin would go after him. I can't stand the idea that he takes runs at so many people, but this is the guy he chooses to fight. Why not somebody who at least looks a little tougher?

I respect his skill but hate him at the same time...

Hmmm HBO is filming video for their Winter Classic special and Ovie gets in a fight. Coincidence ?

BTW while Dubinsky isn't a heavy weight in the league he isn't exactly a non-fighter so whoever questions Ovie going after him needs to watch a little more hockey. It's not like Ovie picked the smallest non-fighter on the Rangers to throw 'em with. Dubinsky has been in a few fights in his career.

Not so much questioning Dubinsky as a fighter, just more so saying he looks harmless.

I think Ovechkin is more irritated with having 2 goals in 14(?) or so games than it is the HBO crew. Versus also tried to blame the Caps' 6 game losing streak on HBO, but I think that's a cop out.
