Default I think this was a pretty good deal. Malkin

I just got a 2006/07 UD THE CUP Evgeni Malkin Signature Patches #71/75 Jersey # for $300.
I know that these do not sell near as well as the true Rc's but for it being his jersey # out of the cup Patch Auto /75 I think I got one HELL of a deal.
Thoughts are appreciated.
Thank you

If you are happy with the deal then you got a good deal.

not a bad deal as the others sold for $330 or more and weren't #'d to his jersey #. concur w/ KD, if you're happy, then it was a good deal. I think anything Malkin out of this years cup will do very well.

If he lives up to the hype, his base Cup RCs are going to go through the roof and price themselves out of most collectors' range. His lesser high-end RCs will then see a surge, as will your card. If he continues to live up to the hype, it will drive up his mid-range and low-end RCs as well.

You saw the same thing with Pujols last summer, with his low-end RCs selling for $100 for awhile.

He's already living up to the hype. As long as he doesn't take a step back like Ovechkin did, his cards should continue to move. Being a Penguin helps, that bandwagon is still picking up riders.

A few years ago, Malkin was rated on par with Ovechkin, and while I lean toward Ovy by a little bit, I can't make a good argument why Malkin isn't as good of a player.
