Default What Box Should I get?

Hey guys,

First off I wanna thank everyone whos given me helpful advise so far! Im in the market for a Mid end product. Looking at getting 2-3 boxes...and want something that has alot of hits that come out of it. Here is what i was thinking...

-UD ice
-UD Trilogy
-SPA
-SPX

I would maybe even consider OPC premier...but i dont think im quite there yet. Iv never opened a high end product.

any suggestions...please feel free to let me know! thanks

I would say SPX its a great product with many hits per box! You cant go wrong there!

I like last year's SPA much better than Ice. And 2-3 boxes will give you an excellent chance of at least 1 auto/jsy/rc and possibly a nice FW auto or 2. Good luck!

Last years SPA is a great product to bust! Lots of hits and its possible to pull a crosby rookie auto, A.O and Malkin. The boxes are about $180 -$200 but there is no limit to the amounts of hits ive seen a box with 8 autos! if your willing to spend the money go for SPA 06/07!

They were going 2 make 2 series of 05/06 kinda like the Upper Deck series 1 and 2. But they never ended up doing the second set, and they had all the left over cards, so they put them into the 06/07 boxes randomly and increased the value of the boxes! That is what i heard! So now you have the chance of getting 05/06 rookies and 06/07 rookies its just a bonus!

sweet!!! so SPA it is...lol:P
What about theses:

06-07:
SPX
UD Sr.1
UD Sr.2

07-08:
UD Sr.2
SPA

By the sounds of it...the 06-07 is the best SPA to get right?

I'm glad you made this thread because I have a birthday coming up and want a box. I don't want anything high end so I'm thinking spa or spx not sure which year though.

I definitely agree on the 06/07 SPA, I got one box for my birthday this year a pulled the Ovie FW Auto /999. And I got 4 autos in the box instead of 3.

07/08 Has also been alright to me, but there is also crap boxes so it would be risky.

I would definitely go fro 06/07 SPA or 07/08 SPx, both have a good amount of hits, especially SPx, with 4-6 with a chance of the Flashback fabrics.(I really like the way those look)

Good luck with your decision!

now next question is...should i go 06/07 SPX or 07/08 SPX

LOL malkin collectors unite! Im going to say 07/08 just because you can get patches and there are more hits. If your looking for the malkin spx rookie auto #/799 then you would go for the 06/07 but for sure the 07/08 in my opinion!

In 06/07 SPA what are the chances of actually pulling a crosby, ovechkin or malkin?

Probably not very good...lol
im guessing if you bought a case...you might have a 50/50 chance of hitting one of them...but not likely to happen with my luck

Best long term value is 06/07 SPA. Could also be a fun rip.

Spx is a fun rip, but not really sure the value is there long term (not a fan of the "hit/pack" boxes as most are watered down.

Avoid ice unless you won on a lotto ticket tonight. The rookies odds are worse than you winning the lotto.
