Default Opened some more Cup...

got killed compared to how I've been doing with it.

To add insult, some of the better hits (really bad case) were damaged more than what's been typical.

ouch that one hurts. I'd give ud a call to see if they would be able to replace the damaged cards. Hard to figure out how out how the corners got so dented unless fedex was playing football with your tin

I noticed on the UD website that it just says to send them damaged cards (nothing about wrappers, etc). Anyone go through their process? Since stuff is serialized how do they handle that?

I have a whole stack of Cup cards I could send. It sucks because some of them have fantastic patches.

mightbe - a couple years ago i had some issues with basketball exquisite where many of the cards exhibited serious peeling of the corners. i called UD and they said to send everything back except the boxes(receipt, wrappers are fine). what was really odd about my conversation with them is that the person said that you may get different answers depending on the customer service agent. so, to CYA, just send them everything but the boxes.

the more you send back (wrappers, tin, receipt), the higher your creditabilty will be for the replacements. UD now replaces SN'd cards with the same SN, but I'm not sure on the swatches. I take the scans of the cards and send them to UD and see what they tell you to do. Most likely they'll have you send them in, but now with your letter and cards, include that email and I'd expect them to take care of it.

Thanks for the tips. I'm going to go through all of my Cup cards and organize everything into one mass complaint.

The thing with these cards has been, since none have been 100% perfect what is "acceptable?" For those that have been selling this year's Cup, do buyers understand that there will more than likely be some chipping, etc?

I think that most buyers understand with products like the CUP and Exquisite there is going to be some chipping. The product is on card auto'd so you have players handling them, UD product managers handling them, and then interns hand packing the boxes. But if there out of the ordinary damage then UD should have replace the card. If they can't you will wind up getting the cards back with something as compensation (packs of something or individual cards).

THat sucks. Its always the good patches that have bad edges. If it weren't for the on card autos they would replace the card with new patches. But your best bet will be sending the cards back to UD. They will most likely send the same cards back with some sort of compensation. Maybe a tin of the cup
