Default Luongo might be done for the season

Roberto Luongo left the game with a severe groin strain/tear (no one sure yet), needed to be helped off the ice. Both sides tapped the sticks on the ice. Not a good sign.

I was out of the house today so I didn't get to see the game. Turned it on on my XM radio and they were talking about the back up goalie. That explains why he was in. Too bad for Luongo. He is probably the most dominating goalie out there.

More fun than hockey... lets not go there. It looked real bad. It looked a lot worse than what Lehtonen had a few years ago that cost him 1/2 the season. Vancouver has to make a move now, Curtis Sanford isn't going to hack it.

Any guesses what deals get made?

I could see Boucher (SJ) going there for Pyatt and a draft pick, but they have to be sure Nabokov is OK. Montreal could move Halak, but they'd be looking for a #1 and #3, which might be pricy but he's be worth it. The Canucks can't afford Khabi if they want Sundin... hell you might see Nabokov going there if San Jose really believes in Brian Boucher.

Not a good sign at all...You don't think he will be out for a long time, do you?

He's out for a while, but last I heard won't lose the whole season.

Luongo went down again. Its a groin people you can't put a band-aid or a cast on it. At least I wouldn't.
