I wish they would bring back Parkhurst over O-pee-chee. There is nothing really new in the product anymore and it is kinda getting bland a bit. I know somebody who only collects O-pee-chee and even he was not too interested this year. Hopefully they add something new.

I could be completely off my rocker but I thought I read somewhere Parkhurst was coming back.

Parkhurst is going to be a retro product with no current players in it.

So, Parkhurst will be like the 2006-07 version again? That was a really nice set, so that would be a nice thing to have back. I enjoyed the 2005-06 set too. I actually felt satisfied putting that one together, lol. Even when ITG made Parkhurst, it was pretty nice.

I believe the official name of the release is Parkhurst Champions and is a lot like the Champs release from the 2 years prior to 10/11 complete with lots of parallels and minis.

That is a shame.. I do not mind Champs, but they might as well just keep the original name if it will be the same. And I assume the dinosaur / animal cards will be out of it, which I personally enjoyed.

It reminds me a lot of this years. The base cards that is. I wish that Carey Price was the base card, but I am assuming the Hartnell one is.

I do hope it has new things in it this year. I am not sure, but I feel it is getting kinda boring. The playoff beard thing is kinda cool, like the Topps variatons, but not little sparkles or pies or different poses.

What is that about? Last years' rookies as updates in 2011-12? I am kinda confused about that.

•O-Pee-Chee Rookie Update (New)
•2010-11 Rookie Update (1:18)
•2010-11 Rookie Update Retro (1:72)
•2010-11 Rookie Update Retro Rainbow (1:288)

I will buy it as I have been doing since I took my quarters to the corner store in 1975 but the base cards look too much like this year's, which I thought SUCKED! When is UD's NHLPA license up again??
