Default Carcillo A Flyer !!!!!!!!

Take that biotches !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah Bill Guerin going to the Pens steals a small amount of thunder but Carcillo and Kyle McLaren (added for a late pick)add some grit and even more size to the team.

Upshall was a gamer even though he is undersized. He also was an UFA after this year and probably not in the plans so this is a great great deal for the Flyers. You Pens fans know I've alway raved about Carcillo. The fact he is a Flyer makes me truly believe Paul Holmgren will bring another Cup to Philly very soon. Talk about building a young, talented and tough monster of a team in a salary cap ruled league over a very short period of time. Hats off to Homer !!!

Can't argue with you there. Wings have been the class of the league for quite some time.

I heard Carcillo was taking selfish penalties for the Coyotes and was not favored any longer by Gretzky. If I were the flyers GM, I would not have made this deal. The Flyers also gave up a second round pick in the deal, making the trade fairly uneven.

I heard that Carcillo is having an awful year and it happens to young players. All you dolts who wanted to give up on Jordan Staal during his second season swoon are looking pretty dumb right now.

For that matter Patty Kane hasn't looked too good since January 1, I guess that he's being selfish and the Hawks were stupid for not trying to deal him.

Patrick Kane is a first line player who can actually score with consistancy and doesn't take bad penalties very often. Daniel Carillo is a guy who might or might not score, but is a third liner at best and takes stupid penalties. He was dealt since Gretzky could not get him to stop fighting and increase his production on the team to meet his potential as a top 6 foward. Carillo as it a point in his career where he either is a career minor leaguer, a fourth goon, or a guy who can score 50 points as a top six foward.
