Need opinions on ovechkin cup rc sale

hey everybody i just sold my ovechkin cup rookie and it sold for way more than i thought it would. but the problem i have is the person that had the winning bid has 0 feedback actually the last two highest bidders had 0 feedback i dont know if i should sell to him im just trying to be cautious does anyone have any thoughts on what i should do all the people i sold to usually have a least 20 feedback?

Since you didn't put anything in your listing about >10 feedback etc. you are supposed to carry out the transaction if they send payment. Your only recourse now is to :

A.) take the negative for not selling OR B.) send fully insured with signature confirmation.

This is why auction style sucks with high end cards because you can't screen the potential problems with unwanted bidders.

I sell a lot of items to people with 0 feedback. I would say that 95% of the time they pay. You just have to wait and see if they pay. If they do make sure that you have some type of tracking or delivery confirmation # and only ship to paypal confirmed address.

Because the item is over $250. it MUST be signature confirmation for it to be accepted as delivered by paypal. Even then its still not 100% scam proof but with insurance and a signature you've done everything paypal asks.

thanks for the responses guys, does anyone know what the deal is with these guys with zero feedback coming out of nowhere and bidding on these high end cards do they have another i.d. and just prefer not to use it?

Hi, just for your info when you create your listing you can set buyer requirements like for example :

Bidders must have 20+ feedbacks
Bidder must have more than 99.9% positive feedbacks etc...

You have to use all protection you can on this, tracking#, signature of the person also (not only signature upon receipt, signature of the actual buyer) insurance, etc..)

Cross fingers hand hope everything will go well.

Mike when did they add those 2 ? Would like to add those as well. I didn't think fleabay would allow you to block new bidders, hence the -1 rule ? Here are the ones I have been using :

Block buyers who:
Don't have a PayPal account
Have received 2 Unpaid item Strike(s) within 1 month(s)
Have 4 Policy violation report(s) within 1 month(s)
Have a feedback score equal to or lower than -1

In my experience, zero feedback winners rarely pay. I say about 10% pay.
