Default 79-80 Topps Boxes? Value?

A friend of mind happened to mention that he had 3 box of 79-80 Topps hockey I don't know if he knows what he is talking about of if he really has them but I ask if he realized they were worth some serious coin? He knew it was Gretzky's rookie. He said he got them at a estate sale years ago. IF he really does have them what is a box worth??? Only info on ebay I found was a single packing selling for $50. Thanks

Default Check any of the larger unopened dealers

Check Blowout or Baseball Card Exchange. BCE is paying $1700 a box for an unopened & legitimate 79/80 Topps Hockey wax box.

They are big dollars . Be prepared for the list of questions and examination of this product by any perspective buyer. They are gonna go over this with a fine tooth comb. They do with all old wax. And I can almost guarantee you will not be able to sell this over the internet unless you are willing to send first. Nobody is gonna buy this without checking it out first.
