Default Don't. Poke. The. Bear.

Carlton the bear. Was at a Leafs game last week. A buddy of mine started poking Carlton. Got the living $hit beat out of him. Talk about anger issues. Shouldn't have poked the bear.

Come on, you don't know Carlton the Bear? The Maple leafs mascot! Sorry, I've been sick of reading all of these threads about the Bruins. Just an attempted shot back

Not a clue, didn't even know they had one. I don't think NHL teams should have a mascot.

Oh well. Guess that joke didn't get across to anybody My point was I'm sick of reading all of those "don't poke the bear" threads. Hopefully the point got across.

Makes more sense than that freakzoid Youppi, or Spartacat, or Harvey the Hound, and those are pretty much the only relevant mascots in the NHL. I'll admit though, there is not much that makes sense about him. Probably a Harold Ballard creation.
