Sabers Tickets/ HSBC First Niagara Ctr.

I am going to be in Buffalo next week for business, and as I planned the Bruins are playing at the HSBC/First Niagara Ctr. I don't want to pay the service charges etc. so I plan on grabbing a ticket that night. Are there "cheap" tickets out front rather than going to box office, and am I taking a chance not getting a ticket for ($50.00 upper arena w and additional $11.50 in service chg.) up front. Anyone from the area familiar with all of the above any advice would be appreciated! Thanks in advance

I went to a game about 3 weeks ago against the Jets and the game was sold out.

But there was a handful of people between where I parked and the front of the stadium that were either buy or selling, so it is possible.

I think for the $50, I'd just pay it and know you have a seat, cause the Bruins are prolly a hotter ticket than the Jets and they were sold out.

there's scalpers all over the place. I go to about 5-7 games a year and have never not seen a scalper. A buddy of mine always waits til the game starts, then buys a ticket from a scalper for 1/2 price.

Forgot to mention that you shouldn't have a problem getting a ticket for under $50.

Craigslist is loaded with tickets all the time. Were are you looking to sit? I have a ton of friends that have seasons. I went to the Jets game on Hawerchuck night and sat in the lower level. I paid $60.00 for the pair. Now Boston is always a good game.

There'll always be scalpers. I went to a Leaf game in buffalo and drove down without tickets. Picked some up relatively cheap (for a Leaf game!) from them.

Thanks that's what I figured, I typically wait till just before faceoff when they are trying to unload what they have left, just wanted some feedback on buffalo Thanks again!

Thanks, and great advice, picked up a single for Bruins Game Wed. night for $36.00. If I wanted to sit in the same area at the TD Garden It would cost me $85.00! Looking forward to catching a Game in Buffalo, and the best news NO SNOW is forcast!
I have been in Buffalo where I was stuck for 2 additional day's due to the Thruway being shut down!
