Ok, I won't say anything about playoff performance and Arod (oops...I mean Ovechkin).

I watched Richter when he was in his prime and he was awesome. (Ahhh the spring of 94) we had the Knicks in the finals (choked) and the Rangers winning the cup in the same year...

I think Lundqvist might be better though

Heading back to Philly for game 6 after the weirdest shutout I've ever seen.
Biron makes it gutwrenching for Flyers fans. Leading 2-0 with over half the 3rd remaining I kept thinking, just don't do anything stupid Marty. Biron seems to lose sight of the puck alot when its behind the net.

How did Kennedy not score on that stuffer in the first when Biron was on the other side of the net not knowing where the puck was ?
The bounce off the boards Marty almost put in his own net as well because he had no clue where the puck was.

Should be a madhouse on Saturday.

Flyers played very well in the 2nd and 3rd periods. That Kennedy gaff could have completely changed the outcome of the game. Philly looked shaky in the 1st. I think Saturday is going to be an intense game. Guessing it will be another low scorer, maybe 2-1, but no predictions on a winner.

I agree, if the Pens got the first goal early, it might have been like game 5 last year. Pens have to be a bit on edge now because without Fleury coming up huge in 2 games (gaem 2 and 4) this series could be 3-2 Philly or over. Even up 3 games to 1 it wasn't like the Pens were rolling over the Flyers.

I just hope the Flyers keep showing up like they have been. No repeat of that game 1 effort.

I don't have a good feeling at all about this series...I think the Pens might drop the next two and go down. I don't think it's in the cards for them this year...I think they're out of gas after playing disco dan's system and it has wore them out.

Default 1 Period Down

1 period down 2 to go to be 2k richer and the comeback begins....

I think lundquist has been figured out, score on him and the gates will flow open. If you fall behind he tightens up and he gets better. I know its not rockets science.

I'd love to see Carolina beat the Devils and then round 2 is Bruins v. Canes and Caps v. Pens

Man when did Lundy develop such a crappy glove hand. I've never seen him give up as many weak high glove side goals as he did in this series. Looks like its going to be Caps and Devils and Pens vs Boston.

Very impressed with the play of Varlamov in that series. Not sure why he didn't play more during the regular season based on his play over the last few games.
