Gonchar would be clutch for game 7. But I am happy with GoGo and the Water Boys play over the last 2 games. Satan has been playing very well too.

Here's hoping that the refs continue to let them play on Wed. 5 & 6 were very well done by the officials.

Watching BB's presser reminds me why I like that guy. I love the fact that he is a straight shooter. Puts the accountability on the players and rarely talks about the refs, ice, etc. If he was coaching for any other organization, I would have to route for them.

That being said...

What a game, too much back and forth for me!

who would you rather have and why?

I think the Ducks if Hiller is goalie, but if Giguire is, then the Wings.

Clearly a bandwagoner right here judging by this post.

How so? I don't recall him saying he was a fan of either team...pretty sure that was just a statement of opinion on who he thinks will win, dependent upon who is in goal for the Ducks.

It doesn't matter to me whether its the Ducks or the Red Wings, I'm just excited to finally be excited again for the Hawks!! Heck of a game last night, but that high paced back and forth stuff probably won't work forever. Both the Wings and Ducks are too seasoned for it. And Khabibulin needs to start playing like a top-notch goalie again.

As for the Pens/Caps, MAN was that a great game too! I'm pulling for the Pens only to shut up some of the people on here..... Even EBacardi must admit the Pens dominated game 6 for the most part. E, how come you never PM'ed me about a wager for the series?? To be honest it slipped my mind. Game 7 in that series is going to be must see TV. It will be interesting to see if the Pens can come out with top energy after the deflating loss and at the Caps rink....

The Hawks-Canucks series was the best series no one watched. Jeez, Patty Kane, on fire, maybe he should be in the best player in the NHL conversation after that series.

I would probably have some bias being a Hawk's fan, but every game I was able to watch in the series was incredible. Kane looked like a world beater, for one night at least! That backhander from the top of the slot was awesome. Unless you played the game you don't realize how tough it is to go far side on the backhand and still put a lot of mustard on it. Can't wait for the semi's!

Pens should have been elimanated a few games ago. They got some lucky bounces otherwise there playing golf already. I will be there tomorrow night, the Caps have not lost a game in 5 years when I am there. Will the streak continue?

Same can be said for the Caps. You take Varlamov out of the equation and the series is over in 4. Either way, whoever wins game 7 deserves to win this series. Both teams have played exceptionally well. It would suck if the Pens lost, but I wouldn't sweat over it too much because they got beat by an evenly matched team over a 7 game series.

I hope your being sarcastic there...As the "best player in hockey," he did very little in that series last year against the Flyers. The first round this year, he had one exceptional goal. He was essentially invisible for almost all 7 games. Pull your head out of his a$$ and stick it back up Backstroms You want to talk about how well Semin played, or Varlamov, or even your boy Nickey, but don't say he was a major contributor to them winning that series. Take away Varlamov's stellar play against an offensively inept Rangers team, and they are out in 5, not winning in 7.

Didn't we already hear this crying? If, if, if...if Crosby had balls, he'd be a guy.

What crying are you referring to? I don't recall crying at all here. Just stating a fact that Varlamov is the reason why the Caps are in a position to possibly move on.

And I again ask that anyone at all go back and find any reference I made about Crosby being the best thing going. I never have. Only defended a guy on the team I follow when people make ridiculous remarks.

Why don't you call up Mark Madden on 105.9 The X right now and debate that with him? I'm sure he'd love to hear you perspective and insight on this. That statement right there shows that you are pretty much a regular bandwagon Capitals fan that doesn't appreciate this series for what it really is.

You have zero intelligent comments to add to any hockey discussion. All you ever say is "Caps in 4", "Pittsburgh is toast", "Ovy Rules" and stupid things like that. You could easily be replaced on your posts by an 8 year old Capitals fan and nobody here would know the difference.

Unless he already is an 8 year old Caps fan

We get a game 7 guys, a game 7! Enjoy it, they don't come often and are hockey at its best!
