Default Wings get SCREWED

Anyone watching this BS game? alittle over 1 min left and puck loose on the goal line and they blow the whistle because the ref is a complete jackoff....so NO GOAL. What a bunch of CRAP! And this was the fastest blown whistle.

The definitely just got screwed out of a win, that puck was clearly loose and not under the pads. I can't believe just because that one ref was too hasty on the call that they can't review that. Total bull.

I didn't see it, but just read that Hiller said they got lucky on an early whistle.... I am a diehard Wings fan myself, but hey these things happen. Just have to roll with it and move on.

If the Ref. can not see the puck and he feels it is covered, then he blows his whistle. There is no review and like the above post says you just need to move on. The Ducks are destined to win the series!!

Canucks will not win the cup.. Cup will be in DC

Cans vs Caps and then Caps vs Ducks

I don't care if the Ducks win the Cup, I just DON'T want the Wings to win it.

Wow. Actually the puck was in the net before he blew the whistle to.

It doesn't matter.. again, if the puck is in the net but the ref can't see it from hiss vantage point and thinks its under the goalies bad then blows whistle.. No goal.

I read one report where an NHL source said that Anaheim's all-black home uni's may have been a factor in obscuring the refs' vision; how hard would it be to put a chip in the game-used pucks and some sort of electric-eye sensor along the goal line??
