Simply put; it's the schedule man. Sat matinee followed up by a Sun matinee and then a tues game. Compare that to Ottawa who plays sat then gets three full days off and plays tonight against Montreal.
Then it's a day off followed by two game home stand then two days off again
They enen have a four game rest coming up..... Boston has 1 two game rest left on their schedule. That's just bull, plus they've been forced to travel all over , by toronton Pitt fla tb and they got a three game swing in Cali coming up all with one day rest between games on a shortened roster at that no peverley and no Horton is really screwing with the lines and their chemistry

obviously you've only been a bruin fan for the last 12 months

try the previous 30+ years of no Stanley Cups for the B's and that was when they had really really great teams, or how about bowing out to the Canadians every year in the first round?

1. Thomas has played waaaay too much lately
2. Backup got hurt w/no back up plans on him
3. when was the last game turco played
4. why was thomas back in last night, just let turco take his pains for a first game
5. the bruins have played about 12-15 more games in the last year than any other team
6. be happy they actually won a cup while you were alive, we are in a golden age that isn't going to last much longer for all our teams.

+1 This team has not had a full 60 Min. effort since Jan 1, and the injury excuse is just that 'an excuse' did they not win the Cup last year without Horton? And just look at Philly & Pit they have both lost numerous 'key' players but have managed to move up in the standings!

The Bruins need to focus and play 60 Min. from the moment the puck drops not wait till the 3rd #@#@#@#@ing period! They need to call each other out, on the lack of effort from each and everyone in that locker room. The talent is there and when Peverly and Paille return they should get that needed boost, but untill we see that 60 Min. effort they will continue to fall in the standings.

If they learned anything from last years success, it's that momentum is hugh for any team going into the playoffs, momentum in Hockey is hugh! If you get it going in the right direction going into the playoffs, anything could happen, I can only hope someone in that locker room steps up and reminds them what they need to do, and it's going to take a player not Chiarelli to get that jump Thomas will regain his focus he's been through these valley's before, it's up to the guy's in front of him to do there job. It's a long season and these 'lapses' will happen, they have 18-19 games to get it right!

Just saying, almost every hockey team makes the playoffs. So they don't get the division or the first seed, they are still going to be in the playoffs unless they take a september calling from the sox. Your first post gives us the jumping off the bridge mentality.
