Jeez the NHL is going rule change crazy!

I was watching sportscentre today, and they were discussing some new rules to be put in place. All I can say is they keep changing the game every year. It's getting ridiculous!

Here are some of the rules that are being seriously considered/guaranteed to be put in:

Hybrid icing: seems like a guarantee for next year
"ringette line": I still don't get this, but appatently the NHL is seriously considering it
3-on-3 overtime.

These are only a couple of them. Honestly, how much does the game need to change to satisfy them?!

Hybrid icing I'm ok with, I don't want the red line back or this "ringette line" either, and 3 on 3 overtime after 4 on 4 would be fine if it replaced the shootout. I can't stand the shootout

No touch icing works in the minors.
