From the Commissioner's Office, new initiative for NY and Philly fans

"Hockey fans have long been known to show support for their favorite team by embracing the tradition of the playoff beard. However, we at the commissioner's office felt that after the past couple weeks of whining and complaining coming out of New York and Philadelphia; fans, players and coaches would be better served by "growing a pair" instead of growing a beard. We hope this will stem the outflow of whining and complaining coming out of both of these metro regions. All questions on this new initiative can be directed to the newly created office of Vice President of Coach and Fan Whining & Complaining which will be headed by the newly dubbed Broad Street Whiners."

Well we know the Flyers don't because if they had, they would have won a Cup more recently than 1975. Hey, don't forget.....the Steelers also get preferential treatment as well!

HAHA! Every team in the 70's did that, including the Raiders.

It was the 70's dude.....football players used steroids and baseball players used speed, it's what they did to get by until George Jung came onto the scene.

Even as a casual hockey fan, I'll never understand how the Penguins get such preferrential treatment or how big the rose colored glasses of all Pittsburgh fans can be...

I'm a Blue Jackets fan, so I pretty much just sit back and watch other teams kick my favorite team's ass every night, so this isn't me having an issue with the Pens, aside from them bringing to question the integrity of the game.

1. The penguins are the pussiest team in hockey. for 2 reasons. malkin and hid girlfriend.
2. The rangers are the best team in hockey. for 2 reasons. they're men, they block shots with their faces and 1/3 of the team scores over 20 goals.
3. I hate philly (clearly you know why), however i think the philly v. pitt matchup is gonna be nuts. First one to put crosbys head thru a wall wins a stuffed penguin...?

That's such a false, oversimplified argument against what everyone is arguing. Everything is automatically invalidated cause "duhhh everyone is jealous."

You think John Tortorella is bitching enough to be fined, because he's jealous? Yes, this thread is about the Pens. I have no real animosity towards teh Steelers. Although I might have a slight bit of animosity towards you for being a Steelers fan, but that's an issue for another thread
