Little help on older hockey please?

I bought a collection at a garage sale today, and came across this card. I looked on ebay and saw the part where the puck is, it's blacked out on mine. Was wondering if this was some sort of variation, or maybe just got colored in? Any help would be appreciated, here's what mine looks like:

It's a normal Bourque RC card. It just hasn't been scratched yet to reveal his name. Be sure not to accidentally scratch it off because it would become worth much less. That's a very nice card indeed.

Did Topps really have scratch-off names? I am 99% certain OPC didn't as I opened dozens of packs of that year when I was a kid - It looks to me more like someone blacked out the name with a sharpie or something...

Yes, they were scratch offs. Couldn't resist those as a kid.
