Should I trade my HD tv for a topps Bobby Orr RC?

I posted my TV on a local classifieds web site and this guy offerd me a topps bobby Orr RC. It's not graded and I haven't saw the card yet. He claims it's mint and been "appraised". My TV is worth about 650 CDN$. Are there fakes out there? How much does it cost to get a card graded? I saw a few of the cards on eBay going for top dollar but I don't see it being a simple flip being as I don't have an eBay account and those were only bin/BO prices... Please help me

Yeah, I know that. I collect but I'd have a hard time grading it my self. Then I have to get it graded and find a buyer but it would be sweet to even sell it quick and double my money...

If you buy it and it grades a 2 you will more than double your tvs value

If the Orr isn't slabbed and graded yet, there is definitely a risk of the card being a replica or reprint. If the guy is offering you what looks to be a mint/near-mint Orr RC, the deal is probably too good to be true because a 1966 topps Orr RC is a worth a couple thousand bucks.

Thanks for your assistance! A two would be like bent corners? It almost seems to good to be true. I just see my self having a hard time flipping it for 1200... But maybe I'm way off

haha. If it is truely a 7-8 or more then it is a stupid amount of money and odds are too good to be true.

I primarily collect baseball but I am up in Canada so I guess it's possible . I'll post on the board if the deal actually goes down . Thanks for your help!
