Default Ultimate Collection or Prime

Would you spend the case money right now on Ultimate Collection or wait a couple weeks for the new Prime??

I busted 2 1/2 cases of Ultimate myself last year plus numerous group breaks and love the product, but Prime seems so interesting with some SICK patches

curious to see some other opinions

Based on previous history with panini and the fact Ultimate looks FANTASTIC this year I'd go with Ultimate. No matter how good Prime looks right now Panini will find a way to mess it up. And, as I said, Ultimate looks fantastic this year.

Considering the Ultimate breaks that have been going on here (is there an Orr in every case?) this one is a no-brainer to me.

Prime will drop by 300-500 a case just like every other Panini hockey product so I still see no reason to buy it at full cost.

Ultimate is notoriously a great set so that is probably where the smart money is. I am also so intrigued with Prime but I'm not sure it's worth popping on a full case until I see what kind of hits are coming out of it.

I agree with Ultimate, but I would not sleep on Prime. I do hockey & football and Panini's first 2 realeases in FB (Prestige & Elite) have been their best in a long time. I like to think they are stepping up their game, but what we have seen from Ultimate so far, you probably can''t go wrong. Good luck in whatever you decide.

good opinions (this is why I love the hockey board, intelligent conversation) I'm not sure if I'm going to go in on a case this year or not, just wanted to get a feel for what everyone thought

Between $100-110 depending if you're ordering online or at your LCS from what I've seen thus far.

I was surprised he was in that group too! Maybe because he signs so much, you can get an auto for under $100 right now.

I agree.

You need to save up for cup.

Ultimate always goes down after cup comes out.

If you are going to spend a lot of cash, buy the best.
