2) Defintely would be used for youth sports in under priviliaged areas, would love to help those kids and give them something else to do!! Also Pet Shelters in my area would get a lot of help!

1) It's funny, but I've actually thought about this a decent. What would I do with the money from a big jackpot? Honestly, the first thing I would do is set my parents up for the rest of their lives. New house, car, kitchen(my mom has always wanted a fancy new kitchen) and nice things. I wouldn't spend on me until they were taken care of.
2) I haven't thought too much about the exact charities, more like a general number to donate. I think 10-20% after taxes taken out. Most would go to feed/clothe the poor. Some for Israel. And some for my alma mater.

Always fun to imagine these scenarios
1) I would buy out 2 of my co-workers so that they could retire comfortably. Then everyone in the family would be debt-free with plenty of spending cash. Heck, why not, I'd do a massive free group break of a few cases of THE CUP on here - that'd be the most fun I'll bet! 2) The Terry Fox Foundation would be big on the list of charities, as well as our local children's hospital that does amazing things in this province (had a minor stint there with the young one). Then I'd look to do good things with a local birds of prey shelter that I used to volunteer at for a few years (a family that has dedicated their lives to it). Lastly but definately not least, I would take the family to visit our foster child in Chad, and hopefully help change some lives. ahh to dream

1) My parents paid mortgage so they could have a mortgage burning party and every member of my family would not have a bill left in their name.
2)Susan G. Komen Foundation, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Wounded Warrior Project and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. There are so many but these hit me right in the ticker.

1) The present would be totally unexpected for an unexpected family member. I would be the present under the tree for my step father who I havent seen in over 8 years. When I was a teenager I was absolutely horrible to him and never got along with him, I now realized how much he has given to my mother and how happy she is with him in her life. I never met my real father and absolutely ruined my chance at having a relationship with him when I was younger. I'm 29 now and him and my mother have been together for for over 15 years, I moved away when I was 12 and missed out on alot. Today he's always asking for me to go see them, but it's a 16 hour drive and I never get the time away from life or the money to see them.
2) I would definitely give back to the childrens hospital in Indianapolis where I spent a 3 year peroid almost non-stop in. I have scolosis and was 9 years old when the decision was made that I would have to have life changing surgery to stop the severe curving of my spine. I can never give back to that hospital what they had given to me, that would be one of my chosen charities to give back to.

1) What big surprise would be under the tree for one of your family members if you hit the lotto?
I would buy my mom her own house and totally customize it to her wants. She would have an awesome work shed out back to do all her wood working projects and it would be in a secluded wooded area. I have always wanted to give back to my mom for all the sacrifices she has made for my brother and I. It would also have an amazing art studio and built in voice activated sound system throughout the house. 2) What charities would benefit from you hitting the lotto? The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and also St. Judes. I love both of those charities. Thank you for the contest!

1) What big surprise would be under the tree for one of your family members if you hit the lotto?
I would have two big checks under the trees of my parents and my in-laws for them to buy the houses of their dreams. And for my wife, any car that she wanted. 2) What charities would benefit from you hitting the lotto? I had a scare with my daughter when she was born. Thanks to Universal Newborn Screening; the tests potentially caught a problems she may have had. We went for more intensive screening and it turned out to be nothing. The person responsible for that required testing in NYS is Jim Kelly, and the name of his foundation is Hunter's Hope, in honor of his son Hunter who had a disease that could have been treated had it have been caught in time.

2. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Children's Miracle Network. I lost my daughter at 8 days old and no one needs to go through that

the big surprise under the tree would be old childhood momentos for my mother. she does everything for everyone else, and TWICE now has lost everything (house/car/possessions/heirlooms). First time to a flood, 2nd time to a fire.
the charity that would benefit would be Hockey Fights Cancer. my pap passed away from cancer when i was young, and being a hockey player, I have always had a close feel for this charity (threw a roller hockey tournament last year and raised over $6000 in a day)
