My Holy Grail for my Kopitar PC is here!

Well, for Christmas this year with the help of my parents, I bought something that I long wanted to put as a cornerstone to my Anze Kopitar collection and today it arrived. Through MeiGray, I have acquired a 2006-07 Rookie Game-Worn Jersey:

and they sent a photomatch showing the seam repair on the left side of the back:

and it also has a rather large puck mark on the front:

It is a road white set 1 meaning it was used for road games at the beginning of his career. This was definitely on my bucket list and it is now the centerpiece of my whole Kopitar collection to go with a game used autographed stick and a signed puck among all the cards. Stunning and speechless is just the beginning of how I feel about owning this gamer. Thanks for letting me share.

Nice piece, I think I sold you a SP Game Used /3 patch/fight strap of Kopitar a few years back. Glad to see it went to someone who would enjoy it.

Will leave it the way it is. An auto on it crossed my mind, but I have no way of getting it in person by myself.

The last two years, the Devils have had a post-season autograph session at the Prude for season ticket holders and some other groups. Not sure if other teams did something like that as well. Really great access to the players.

I had a pair of GU Brett Hull Blues Gloves that were signed and had a pair of Red Wings GU gloves that were unsigned. A lot of collectors prefer them unsigned so they remain in that unchanged GU condition. Great of your parents to help get that, special to have Rookie season!

Very cool man! It would look amazing framed up with those pictures and certificate. Maybe instead of getting the jersey signed he could sign part of the Mat if you frame it.

Dang, that's a very nice piece! I've always wanted to add a game used Maple Leaf jersey to my collection, hopefully someday that'll come to!
