Don't know how a penalty wasn't called on the hit on Kadri at the end. Really should've been a penalty.

That last Flyer goal was terrible. Any referee with a set of eyes could've called that. Shouldn't have counted at all.

Oh well, we fall to sixth in the conference (tied, but Ottawa has a game in hand). Still looking good for a playoff appearance, potentially even a run! GO LEAFS GO!
WTF man??? We're trying to lose to get a good draft pick. Why couldn't your boys in blue hold up their end of the bargain .

Oh well, I guess it could be worse...

Big win last night! Playoffs looking like a near certainty now, although I won't get too confident (the Leafs have collapsed late in the season before!).

Leafs should send Gary Bettman a gift. The only way they can make it is in a shortened season.

Food for thought - if the Leafs lose in the Stanley Cup finals, could the Vancouver riots look tame compared to what we could see in the T.O.?

The Leafs send Bettman a gift every year. $30 million or so in revenue sharing

I don't think Toronto would riot, although who knows. I don't see the suits in the lower bowl going nuts, although the folks outside surely would.

What are you basing your comments on? FYI when the Jays won back to back world series championships, the people of Toronto were classy and there was nothing illegal that took place. When the Leaf's were successful during the 1990s, again nothing illegal took place and we cheered for our team in a sensible manner.

9 years of missing the playoffs and not a seat in the ACC has been empty.

Yeah, there are a few of us

A points a point, and picking up 3/4 against one of the hottest teams in the league is a very positive sign. Getting much closer to clinching a playoff spot, possibly as high as fifth.

Go Leafs Go!

Lucky start for Toronto, but they took over later on and never gave in to Montreal. Very well done. Playoffs now a near certainty!

Well, we certainly didn't dominate the Devils, but I'll take the win!

He's been winning us games for the past week or so. The team needs to get more shots on net. Despite the fact we're winning games and playing physical, the team is only getting around 20 shots a game, some nights lower.

If he goes back, even to midseason form where he was still very good, the team will not stand a chance. Not sure if this is the team mailing it win for the last couple of weeks, or just the team's inability to get shots to the net, but Carlyle will have to correct it for the Leafs to hang on to the 5 seed.

As for you Solt, thank you for giving me my daily dose of stupid. Every day I get confident, start thinking I'm intelligent, then you bring me back to earth. God bless you sir, because nobody else will.

Probably just a rough streak by the team. Other than a few here and there (granted I haven't watched nearly the amount of Leafs games you have, I'm assuming), the overall D doesn't look any worse to me. I just think teams have scouted and found weaknesses, as most teams have experienced this season.

I predict your boys will retain the 5th seed. If Boston is 4th, I'd have to go with Boston if pressed, but if the Habs fall to 4th (which they will - or even worse - if they don't get outta their funk), you guys have handled them lately, so that series will probably be a dandy!!

Personally, I'm rooting for a Leafs-Habs first round series. That's must-see TV.
