Default Opening night rookie performances

Well that didn't help extinguish the pain of no RCs this year;

Tarasenko 2g
Huberdeau 1g, 2a
Granlund 1g

Sigh.....another strike against Panini for me.

There were alot of Rookies that made their debut last night, and with the NHLPA not allowing 'new' Rookie cards for this year, it makes for some interesting decisions for next years releases.

Will this years Artifacts Rookie Redemptions not be honored till next year is one question I currently have.

Mike Kostka of the Leafs had a great game. 23 minutes, and an assist, along with being on the top defensive pairing.

Nazem Kadri had a goal, and a couple of big hits.

Galchenyuk looked decent in his first start. Almost scored on his first career shot.

Cory Conacher looked good in his first career, scoring a goal.

There were a few good starts by rookies, but few that hold hobby value.

Scott Laughton for the Flyers had a few nice hits and took a weak wrist shot from 50 feet out when he could've passed it

Tarasenko looked really good though
