Outside of Nash and Stepan it looks like not many of the current Rangers are doing all that well with this 'new system' And that's why I made the post that Torts day's could be numbered. Far too much talent on this Rangers team to be sitting 9th in the conference, there are far more issues than Gaborik who will do very well outside of NY

After reading your first sentence I no longer want to talk to you lmaaaoooo. Center lol? Really? I don't think Gaborik has ever taken a face off lol

Yeah I understand what your saying, I never said he wasn't talented. He definitely is one of the most talented payers in the league but also one of the most inconsistent.

Listen as I'm sure you know I am a Bruins fan and just the thought of inconsistent brings to mind a few players we currently have on our 1st line , however that being said knowing the body of work they have acheived in the past you can only hope it's JUST the dreaded funk!!

Hockey players are perhaps the most 'streaky' professional players in any sport, once they start lighting the lamp again all that inconsistency is forgotton! AND ONE HOPES THATS DURING THE PLAYOFFS!!

If your Rangers could perfect the game they typically play against the Bruins you would be all set!! Good luck on the fight for a playoff spot.

Wow, they look like a completely different team.
I think they would have turned things around regardless, but you've got to be excited moving forward.

Haha i was watching the Mets they are winning 4-0 right haha, Checked espn to see how bad the Rangers were losing and almost fell off my chair when i saw they were up 3-0.

Checked who scored and was happy to see Clowe had scored a goal.

I don't know about looking that different with the only edition being Clowe & Brassard tonight, but rather it looks like the Pens goaltenders have returned to form!

Gaborik not even playing tonight!! LMAO But your Broadway NEW Boys are blasting the Pens

Just remember it's just one game, and a few of those goals were soft.

Boys played great tonight, starting to play Rangers hockey hopefully we can keep it up! Big games coming up Carolina then back to back against the Leafs who if we beat we can jump up to 6th or 5th!!!

Was a great game by both teams, I thought the first was even, 2nd an advantage to Pittsburgh, and you guys controlled the 3rd. Great play in goal by both HL and MAF. I wonder if HL tweaked his groin or hammie in the SO.

Only thing I didn't like was how chippy the refs let the game get. Both teams got away with too much, including cheap stuff by both teams.

I've noticed more of this 'tolerance' from the refs in general this season, not sure if it's because of the condensed season as the intensity for most teams seems at an increased level from the initial puck drop IMO.

As long as they let it go both ways and it does not have an effect on the outcome of the game, let em rock that's what makes hockey such a great and unique sport!!

I agree with you for the most part, but it seems like there have been more injuries this season than usual. Much of that stemming from aforementioned chippy, or downright dirty play. Not just the Penguins!!! I never like to see injuries, no matter who the team or player.

Yea, when you look back at the evolution of hockey as we know it, players played with no head gear and concussions were there but not like now!!

The league is making an attempt to protect the head region, but as you and I know very well know, it's getting out of #@#@#@#@ing control!!

Yep. And the league discipline committee is a complete joke. Hits all over the place that deserve suspensions go with impunity, that recent nasty slash that deserved a much worse fine, and the list goes on forever. It IS getting outta hand.

They're not even reviewing the hit on Neal. At least they should throw us a bone and review.

Another questionable (being polite) hit by a Rangers player that goes with impunity. Team is very lucky.
