Flyers are just pathetic. More goaltending issues with that sap from Russia. Bruins rolling and looking good.

The B's need to wake up and find their leg's, not a very good start tonight in Ottawa! Another turnover and they are down 2 quick!!

That's as bad as I've seen the B's all year...they should be down about 5-0 right now...

I have a Penguin fan friend so I love to see them suffer.

It was possibly the stupidest shootout attempt ever! It completely eliminates the choice to elevate the puck so all the goalie has to do is stay down...

I see on YouTube that it did work for him once in the minors though...

Congrats on the win. Ottawa has been incredibly tough to beat at home.

Actually just got back from the game. Pretty solid job by the Sens, but the Bruins looked awful for the first 25 or so minutes. Throw Karlsson and Spezza in there, it could've been a blowout for the Sens.

Yes, I think Ottawa outplayed the B's for long periods of time, but w/ Boston's solid D and goaltending, Ottawa just doesn't have the offense to combat that. And yes, Daugavins looked like an idiot on that attempt.

I don't have that big a probem with Daugavins' move. Bear in mind I don't have any teams involved, but I thought it was a solid move. It completely throws the goalie off. Tuuka had to make a good save. I can definitely see why some people would think it to be stupid, but the shootout is supposed to increase drama and excitement, and seeing six shooters go five hole isn't terribly exciting.

As someone posted on another website, Pavel Datsyuk could do that and, regardless of the result, be called an innovater and greater than Gretzky. Of course Pavel Datsyuk could drop kick the goalie, spit on him and kick the puck in while giving the finger to the crowd and be called an innovater.

I'm sorry but I'd rather see Krejci deke the goalie, give a nasty head fake, stop on a dime and roof a backhand then see what Daugavins tried.

Yes it was exciting...but on a goalie who had done their homework (clearly Rask hadn't as it appeared he had no clue he was going to spin) it would not have come close to working.
