Very Nice!! Man if that got an 8.5 I need to get mine graded ASAP! Mine is Topps though. No offense at all, that's a pretty clean card for OPC. From what I've heard it's tough to keep those blue borders from chipping. OPC seemed to use butter knives to cut their cards back then.

I wasn't trying to "inferr" anything necessarily other than OPC cards are notorious for having rough edges. I have several OPC baseball sets and really does look like they were cut with a band saw. What is a GAI 9 pack? If its not sheet cut how is it made?

GAI=Global Authentication. They used to be a pretty big name in 3rd party grading. Mark Murphy was their head grader for wax. He's the authority on unopened vintage. This was pulled from a GAI 9 pack
I own/have owned several PSA 9 '79's. The rough cut varies from card to card. This is one of the nicer cuts I've seen (guessing it was from an early printing). SGC and PSA don't downgrade for rough cuts |

Gotcha, thanks for clarifying. I don't have much experience with grading. I didn't know they ignore the rough edges.
