Local NBC Station not carrying Ranger/Bruins Game

My station is airing paid programming and dramas instead of the game of the week on NBC

Can local stations block this game

? I don't live near either Boston or New York ? Any feedback is appreciated.

I have it here in South Jersey. Your not missing much though anything is better than paid programming.
