Default This card could sell for more than the Luck Chrome Auto Super!!

11 12 Ryan Nugent Hopkins Ultimate Shield 1 1 The Holy Grail of All Rookies | eBay

Looks like we will have a very large sale to start the new year.

*Disclaimer: Not my card, just wanted to share*

imagine that card after a season or two.. money total wasted on a bad player... really dont get it spend that kind of money on someone who will be nobody after next season. For that kind of money u can get a really nice HOF card.

That's a lot for a player with only the 4th highest potential on his team.

Still, that's serious overpayment considering that both Hall and Eberle have sold for far less. I think Hall is a monster who has done amazing on poor terms, and Eberle has incredible upside. RNH could be great, but his hobby values far outstrip what he has done so far.

Just my opinion.

I was specifically talking about him as a player not the card, you are right though about the card.

Yeah, he'll never be an amazing player like his card values projected/project.

NHL is so watered down, very few superstars/goals/points.

Let's get excited about 24 goal 68 point seasons...

Nugent-Hopkins doesn't have the ceiling to be one of the top 5 players in the NHL. If he's ever in the scoring race, watch - one of his teammates will be potting goals like crazy and RNH will be riding his coattails.

agreed Craig. The chances of all 4 of those Oilers (Hall, Eberle, Nugent-Hopkins, Yakupov) maintaining current values is slim to none. When all the dust settles it will only be Hall left standing. I even doubt Eberle will be an Oiler after draft day

Very true but if that core stays the same, that could be a great team in 5 years with some defense and a goalie which isn't easy but they got great skill on that team.
