REDEMPTION REPLACEMENT: Did Upper Deck hook me up? Screw me? Fair deal?

I know absolutely NOTHING about hockey...nothing at all!

I pulled this card out of a tin of All-Time Greats....

As you can see..the top left corner of the card was mashed up pretty bad, so I sent it in. Today I got my replacement...so did I do good? bad? fair?

My 2 cents...

There are alot of Sakic collectors, especially north of the border (The BAD news

)

BUT, a Stevie Y/Seguin (#/19) from the premier hockey product is probably pretty close (The GOOD news

).

Overall, pretty fair to me.

BTW, check my 'bucket, as I would be interested if it is avaialble !!

Seguin is hotter than titties right now. Yzerman is a classic vet that won't lose value. I think you did okay with the replacement.

Good trade.

You got a fully licensed highest end product card with a premium rookie and HOF with patches, in exchange for a poor excuse of a product with the annoying hand numbering, of a player that is at a similar hobby level to those on the dual.

there are a lot of seguin and yzerman collectors, but i am sure a bigtime sakic collector would have thrown quite a bit of money for that 1/1

Thanks everybody for all the advice..as I was (and still am) sooooo clueless except for what I see on ebay. haha

My card has a better patch than the linked one above...so since that one went for $275...maybe I'll ask the same or a lil more on it!

If anybody's interested in purchasing... let me know!!! Haven't scanned it yet, but I will soon...

i would have expected more from a 1/1 but ATG was a bit of a bummer of a product. if the patches are really nice then it's possibly worth it.

The Yzerman is a 1 color, but the Seguin is a nice 2 color patch... will definitely try to get a scan up tonight or soon

my opinion is you got hosed. I know 3 or 4 Sakic collectors that would pay a high price for that 1/1. A 1/1 of a HOF deserves more than a dual auto patch /19. Just my opinion though.
