Default Help!!! Shipping to Canada and cant get delivery confirmation

Sold some cards 4 days ago however have been unable to ship because of problems with delivery confirmation to Canada. Was informed this was part of the new international rates that started January 27th. I have tried to print off PayPal but it doesn't give me the first class option. I called PayPal and they said it would be fixed Thursday night. Of course it wasnt fixed so I called again on friday. Now they say no idea how long it will take to fix it. Then I went to the post office and argued with them for an hour but they claim they have no idea about this tracking to Canada, even though electronic delivery confirmation for international packages is listed right on their own site. Does anyone know what else I can do? Anyone had success anywhere else? I really need to get these cards shipped out, hate taking this long but I cant do anything without the confirmation per paypal requirements

The best thing I've found for Int'l shipping of high $$ cards is stamps.com as you can insure the package via 1st class. Cheaper way is sending in a large envelope as long as thickness is less than 3/4 inch. Only tracking to Canada is if you send it via registered mail.

If you print the label through USPS.com you can get the free electronic DC#.

There's a monthly fee with that service, doesn't pay if you're not sending stuff to Canada all the time.

So the free electronic DC# through usps just started on January 27th right? Because before that date I dont think there was any way besides express mail to confirm delivery to canada. Have you used this service recently and does it show you somewhere when you are creating the label that it is going to have delivery confirmation?

I just printed out a label on Ebay for Canada yesterday using first class international package and it says right on the customs form "USPS First-Class Pkg Intl with E-DELCON Service." It's right below the bar code. Whatever the issue was it seems like they fixed it. Hopefully you won't have problems with your shipment.

Well mine wasn't an ebay sale. Apparently the only E-DELCON service that is working is off ebay labels. USPS.com doesnt work, paypal doesnt work, the post office has no idea, etc. I just ended up shipping out the card the old way because I was not going to delay it any further. Going to take long enough to get to Canada as it is without having to wait around for the other sites to get their act together

na, its still the same price. Free trial for the first month and sometimes if you call them they extend it.

BTW I also am in favor of shipping this way because the insurance is cheap
