Default Where to buy bubble mailers?

Hey guys I was wondering where you guys get your bubble mailers. My cousin got me a box of 100 for free in May and I just ran out. Now I have to buy at about 1.50 a mailer. Also does it matter how big the mailer is? Is that what makes it more expensive to send? My mailers are pretty big and I have to pay 3$ to send with tracking sometimes I receive small packages and it costs other people about 2.50 and less. Any help would be cool a nice place with mailers would be great

The size of the bubble mailer does not matter- they only charge by weight.

check amazon, or even ebay...remember that #000 is the start i believe in size. thats the one most commonly use, or the one you get a few cards in

As said, its by weight. Whats weird is that if you have shipped over 100 out in the last 8 months, you would know how it works by now. Sounds like you might also be paying at the post office, do it off paypal, it cheaper.

just got 250 #000 for $26 shipped, 100 #00 for $21 shipped and 350 labels for $15 shipped. all on ebay from one seller theerb. (I've used other sellers too so just check the math for what is better for what you need)

I am on my last of 500 #000 I purchased over 2 years ago (and that was like $38 shipped). I used to do the walmart thing but it was so inefective price wise. also you should be using paypal/ebay for shipping as you will save a ton over going to the post office. stamps.com is also running a special where you get a bunch of freebies (I don't know if you can do 1st class online from them since you cannot do 1st class from usps.com)

i replied to your pm..... on paypal when someone pays you, hit the "print shipping label" tab .. reg paper, tape it to mailer, tracking is free... no need to leave house, print, package up, give to your mailman... up to 3oz = $1.69 then add .17 each additional oz.

and as far as the mailers, i get some at the dollar store, small are in 3 pack, med/large are in 2 packs, and i dont ship out high volume, but i reuse ones i get in, alot actually open easy, pull of old label, perfectly fine to reuse

If you do a lot of buying/trading also, you should be keeping the mailers sent to you and re-using/recycling them!

I have not bought a bubble mailer in well over a year!

I've never bought one.

I probably have over 2000 in several boxes.

I'm just starting to mail some cards out and have some questions...Do you have to be precise in the weight of the package? Do I need to buy a scale or can I estimate?

1-3 toploaded cards in a #000 bubble mailer is roughly 3 ounces or less. 1-3 ounce packages only cost $1.69 for postage using Paypal shipping.

That's about right, if you plan on shipping things over time, it is well worth it to buy in bulk as the price per unit decreases dramatically (in this case, just over $0.07 each). Also, you can buy half sheet stickers and print your paypal labels on those (you have to adjust the settings to make sure that you do not print the receipt as that wastes a sticker) using multi-order shipping). I used to do the plain paper thing but I wasted tons of time cutting the labels down and then taping them to the mailer.

Just bought 1000 yellow(6x10") for $30, and 500 white(6x10") for $10. I cut the white in half and use it as a pocket inside of the yellow mailer for extra protection.. So, I bought 1000yellow and 1,000 pockets for $30!! Was able to buy at cost. As for the tape, I use 3" wide tape so it only takes two strips to cover the entire shipping label. IT's quick and easy. I buy the tape in bulk to. Don't go to a office supply chain!! That is a rip off!
