Default 2012-13 Artifacts Wild Card Redemption

I don't open much hockey but finished off the last few packs of a box with one of the "NHL" Wild Card redemptions inside. Since there are versions with teams I'm assuming my card would be an undrafted rookie? Will these be worth anything or do I just sell?

i dont think its an undrafted rookie, i think its one of the rookies that are drafted, but just a random one from a random team, atleast thats the impression i got.

Yeah from what I'm reading they pick a random rookie about halfway through the season that doesn't have a card yet from each team, and I'm guessing for the Wild Card it's just that, any other rookies not represented already that they want a card of in the set.

each team has a redemption card for a RC, since Artifacts is an early season release (typically mid Oct) NHLPA rules stipulate that players can not be featured on a card until they play or in the case of goalies suit up for a regular season game; the redemption cards allow UD to get the latest RC in this product- which in my opinion has always been one of the more solid early season breaks. The wild cards allow for multiple impact RCs from the same team (say Habs/Leafs/Pens etc) to have cards in Artifacts. I am sure UD has its hands tied in some regard with the NHLPA call to not release anymore NHL RCs this season and cancellation of most of the mid to late season hockey releases by Panini and UD. I have not heard of the plans of UD to address this with the base team redemptions of which the wild cards would be a part. Hope this helps.........
