Default Need help with a new project - New to hockey

Hello gentlemen,

Wondering if you could help me out a little. I'm a baseball collector who is looking to start a new project with hockey. I'm looking to collect autos, patches and relics of players who played at the University of North Dakota. I don't know anything about any hockey sets, so I was wondering which you recommend I search for these? I see so many from Dominion to Contenders to SPX. Best looking, best quality, hold good value? What are your thoughts?

Thanks ahead for the help.

The cup/spa/ultiamte/dominion are the best looking IMO. Also, Prime is nice for some patch cards. If looking for RC without breaking the bank UD Young Guns are a good way to go, they are not auto/patch but do hold value. Upper Deck seems to hold the best value (YG, Cup, SPA, Ultimate).

There are a lot of great products out there. Just whatever catches the eye.

BTW nice set of players: Toews, Parise, Zajac, Oshie, etc.

Have fun!
