Default Gretzky Auto

OK, all. I dont know much about hockey, but I do know Gretzky. I watched him play live at the Forum multiple times, and always wanted an auto card of his. However, I dont know what hockey products are good, and which ones might be the best box to break in getting lucky. Also, since that attempt might be quite futile, what is a good card that one could recommend that wont break the bank?? Thanks all!

UD is the only company producing Gretzky autos, as he signed an exclusive deal.

Gretzky autos are tough pulls. Obviously the higher up you get, the more likely you are to pull one, but you'd be spending a ridiculous amount for it.

I'd reccomend buying an UD Ultimate one. His autos are scarce, but not to thd point where they are completely out of price range. If not Ultimate, than Cup would probably be the way to go (although it can get incredibly expensive).

Good luck with your search! I'm still searching for a Wayne Gretzky auto. Just never had that kind of luck, I guess

If you don't have a cap on what you intend to spend, the Cup is your best option to pull 'high-end' hit's. Product has a fair amount of Gretzky Auto's and Game Used jerseys.

If you're looking to pull from a lower end product, I pulled a pretty nice Gretzky from 2011 and 2012 Upper Deck World of Sports. Not the best product, but some HUGE autos in t here.

Forget buying some random boxes and getting a Gretzky auto just because you want one, you will end up spending alot more then the actual card is worth, i would just look ebay at your budget and see if there is anything available instead. There are people that ripped maybe hundreds of boxes and never got the big one its usually thoose who least expect hitting him

If you dont care too much about the product, Id say Goodwin would be a good one to get one from. His autos are fairly manageable pricewise.
