Default Panthers' Richard Zednik cut by a skate to the neck

Not a very good scene in Buffalo. Very reminiscent of the Clink Malarchuk incident that happened in Buffalo.

Olli Jokinen's skate caught Zednik and immediately blood started to flow out and quick.

Sabres' crew said he's in stable condition going to the hospital.

Best wishes to Richard.

Yeah I just saw that on NHL TV. Pretty gruesome how the blood just poured out. Heard he is in stable condition.

Thats 2 days in a row I've seen some nasty skate accidents. Linesman Pat Dipuzzo had Steve Downie's skate hit him right in the face yesterday against the Rangers and he needed 60 stitches I heard around his nose and cheek area. Thats gonna leave a pretty nasty scar I would think.

Kind of weird that stuff like that doesn't happen more often especially in pile ups in front of the net. Even weirder that it happens twice in two days.

Its not NHL Network its NHL TV - channel 276 on Comcast. I kept calling it NHL Network at first on here. I've had it ever since I signed up again for NFL Network for the Thursday night games.
