Grow up and move on! You lost, deal with it. Are you guys still upset about the ECFs when the superior Pens should have won easily, but managed to lose to the Bruins who played like classless scum? You don't think any Bruins players got injured last night from your classless cheapshotting team? Do you see any Bruins fans still crying about it?
Hey RedSoxFan28! How was the Stanley Cup Finals for you?

Pretty sh!tty, But I am proud on how my team played through injuries especially Bergy and still made it a series that should have gone 7 games.

Boston 2-0 vs Pittsburgh/St. Louis teams in postseason!

Cardinals fan complaining about calls in the WS? Are you serious?
You already asked.
How many of those titles were you alive for? 2?
I have seen the Red Sox win 3 World Series Titles

Why don't you join another bandwagon, I hear FSU is doing pretty well in football. Maybe you should hop on before you're too late if you aren't already.

I agree with the length of the suspension - deliberately kneeing someone in the head while they're down, even if it is Marchand, has to be punished. Bad move by Neal. It's a bad sign when even your coach doesn't defend you.

I reserve the right to change my opinion if Thornton gets anything less than 15 games. IMO he deserves at least 20-25 for what he did.

I feel Neal should've a lot received more, but going off of league standards, 5 seems right. Tough to find a precedent for it, I just feel he should get more.

As for Thornton, really, who knows. I could see him getting 5 games, I could see him getting 50 games. This one is up in the air. We'll have to what Shanny decides.

I dont see him getting 5 games since he is having an "inperson meeting". Since Neal had a phone meeting they said the most he could get was 5. Being a Penguin fan I still think he should have gotten more. Neal likes to play dirty. He takes really stupid penalties. I guess we will see with Thornton. I think we will see no less than a 25 game suspension.

the most appropriate punishment for Thornton is "buckwheats."

Bertuzzi got 20 games, I don't see Thornton getting more than he did. My guess would be 10-15.

every article i've read about this has to slip in that "Thornton apologized for the incident." as if it was just a simple accident. he's sorry because he's going to be disciplined.... and because he'll be remembered for it.

and almost every comment i've read from Boston fans (or Pens haters) goes something like... "i'm not justifying what Thornton did but...." and then they go on to justify it.

Once the Devils are pretty much out of it, the Pens need to get Jagr back for the Cup run.

15 games for an assault? not enough.

the Pens need to bring in a goon and handle this sort of thing themselves on the ice.

can we bring James Harrison back to Pittsburgh and teach him to skate?

Nice win last night, but holy sh!t, I've never seen carnage on this scale before. Obviously the big concern is Malkin. Reports are that he was walking without assistance last night but was limping noticeably. It did not look good, especially when he tried to get up and collapsed.

As far as the defense goes, thank God for Shero stockpiling defensive depth - they're already without their top 4 defensemen and now Engelland faces in in-person hearing for the hit on Abdelkader. I know a lot of people don't think much of Engelland, but at this point anyone capable of skating backwards is a candidate to be in the lineup. They're going to have to play the Leafs without 5 of their top 6 defensemen and without Malkin, Bennett, Neal and Glass. That's at least 9 projected regulars out of the lineup.

Who's the next D callup? Is Poulliot ready yet?

Well, it looks like there are going to be some unexpected Pens young guns in UD2.

Pretty soon it will be Sidney Crosby and his teammates - The Wilkes-Barre Pens.

Be prepared for the Toronto Maple Leafs taking on Sidney Crosby and the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins.

Letang to IR (continued proof this was one of the worst contract extensions in Pens history) per the Pens FB. Engellend probably suspended 6+ due to the in-person hearing, and I'm assuming Malkin will be out a while.

Thankfully Scuderi and Glass are apparently close to returning. fleury is gonna have to steal a few in the upcoming weeks. But I've been impressed with the teams resiliency and depth through the injuries so far, but the next couple weeks will be a huge test.

Malkin day-to-day per Bylsma, so that's good news and a huge relief.

Engelland will be gone for a minimum of 6 games for his hit on Abdelkader, but most likely will be 10 games. The league is out to get the Pens, obviously.
