Default A question in regards to international shipping... E-USPS Delcon INTL.

I posted this in the baseball section, but I'm not getting any positive answer yet. I figured I'd post here since a good amount of hockey collectors are in Canada.
I couldn't really find much about this. I am shipping a card internationally (which I don't usually love to do because of the rates). First class international includes "E-USPS Delcon INTL.", which seems to be a sort of tracking thing. Does it actually track the package all the way to the other country? In my case it's Canada that I'm shipping to. It just seems like too good of a deal for only about $7.
Thanks for any info.

I believe the only way to get delivery confirmation to Canada is to use Express Mail International which runs about $30.

From my experience (I am an mid volume seller of hockey cards on ebay, and often ship internationally due to the hockey card fan base), the USPS Intl Delcon tracking is inconsistent.

I print my labels from home and drop off my package the packages at the post office. Usually my local post office will scan the package and it will scan once again at customs arrival in the US.

And that is where it becomes hit or miss. Once my package hits US customs, the USPS site doesnt give me any more information.

BUT, canadapost.ca does do some tracking from this point forward. Using the same tracking number, sometimes these packages are tracked in Canada. Sometimes not.

Hope that helps.
