Mick Vukota - one of the more feared fighters from early 90s (playing in a tournament with him this weekend, great guy)

As a subset / insert set what about "Protectors" - featuring the resident tough guy and the superstar they mostly protected

Rink, spot on with the goalie fights and Slap Shot inspired ideas. I like Adamchuk's Protectors idea as well.

I'd like to see the following players end up with a memorabilia and/or auto'd card
-Dennis Bonvie (Has a lot of die hard fans)
-Kevin Evans (He didn't play a whole bunch of NHL games, but he was a minor league monster. 648 PIM in a SINGLE season!)

Subsets:
-Bench Clearing Brawls
-Stone Hands, Soft Touch (Highest scoring tough guys)
-Who's Your Daddy? (Highlights fights in which one of the players had his butt whipped, not to be confused with wiped, by his opposition)
-Have Fists. Will Travel OR Road Warriors (Highlights players who were enforcers on at least 4 different NHL teams)
-Original Tough Guys (Features the toughest players from the NHL inception up until the NHL's first expansion)

Slap Shot ideas involve licensing from the studio that produced the movie and that would be difficult if not impossible.

Looked into it about six years ago and ever even got a return telephone call.

But a good idea.

Produce a Die-Cut set with the card cut in a penalty box shape perhaps have Clear Acetate added to the card to depict the glass, have the 'All-Time' fighting major players depicted in the set, have an Auto subset where the Auto would be on the Clear Acetate glass, or just under the acetate for protection and not worry about fading.

Keeping with the original release have a Fight Strap Auto set where the Auto is on the actual fight strap, also produce a Dual Fight Strap Auto Set with 5 of the All-time' best Duals

Coaches Set picturing the best Coaches arguments weather it be physical or 'jawwing' over the glass!! Have a 'SP' Dual Auto set also.

Would it be possible to do something without mentioning Slap Shot or the characters the actors portrayed? The set could be called something along the line of Big Screen Goons. Collectors could use the power of Google to figure out what characters that the actors played in the holiest of all hockey movies if they were unsure of which players they portrayed.

The coach idea is an excellent one. This has a handful of good coach fights that could be used.

Then we do the next best thing and have dual signed cards of;

Dave Hanson v. Terry O'Reilly;
Dave Hanson 1979-1980 Regular Season Fight Card - hockeyfights.com

Steve Carlson v. Bob Kelly;
Steve Carlson 1979-1980 Regular Season Fight Card - hockeyfights.com

and then we throw Jeff Carlson on there for the trio signed cards after he racked up 250 PIM in one season for the Johnstown Jets in 74-75.

I call it "Old School Hockey" Signature series.

Like Eddie Shore.
Eddie Shore, yeah.

That would be a great name for an insert set.

Jack Carlson was never in movie. Should be no issues getting him to sign.

I'd also make autograph cards in variations and serial # if possible. One of the things that hurt first issue was all autos just were base. No chase/varations to them. Would be nice if some kind of rainbow could be done with autos. Keep print numbers low.

As an Islanders fan I would not like a goalies subset.

Don't worry, Dipietro won't be acknowledged.

But seriously, Billy Smith was one of the best fighting goalies out there, you should love the set;

I'll give Long Island credit on this one after making me think of Billy Smith;

HOF scraps; fights in which two HOFs went at each other (ex. Billy Smith v. Lanny MacDonald)

I totally disagree with that statement. Fighting goalies belong in this kind of set because fights do not happen between the pipes for the most part.

Booklets with 6 players per side from two teams with jersey and stick pieces called "Yard Sale"

I like the goalie suggestion too!

"Battle Scars";
Y! SPORTS

Stitch and signature of athlete (might have to send out a "hey, save your stitches" letter to 5-10 fighters this year to make this happen for series 3).

I'm a little biased here, but I'd love to see sketch cards...as a big time hockey fan and a HUGE hockey fight fan, I just think that would be awesome. I could even see a puzzle sketch that, when put together, shows 2 guys squaring off.

I 'think' I already know the answer to this, but I'd like to see good fight scene action shots on the cards.

Looking at the list checklist from Enforcers 1, I have to say I'm pretty impressed...a lot of times guys like Theo Fleury or Claude Lemuiex who picked up lots of PIM but never really fought are considered 'tough guys'. Glad to see those types of guys left out here. I think keeping with that same theme but trying to pick up as many new signers as possible would be great. I love seeing some good old timers in there as well!

I think Dual autos should focus on either a)teammates (Probert/Kocur), b)good rivalries (Probert/Domi), or c)a pair of combatants from a specifically memorable fight (maybe Kocur/Kyte?...or Roy/Osgood would be great here as well)

As many 80's and before guys as possible. My #1 top priority wishlist guy would be John Ferguson, no doubt about it.

A fun little subset might be "heavyweight champs" featuring guys who were considered the #1 fighter at some point during their career....some examples, Fern Flaman, Gordie Howe, John Ferguson, Orland Kurtenbach, Behn Wilson, Bob Probert, etc
