I have read the presell posting for UD Series 1 and UD Black Diamond, but I can't find the checklist anywhere. I checked the Blowout site and the new web site that was recommended. PLMK if any of you can foward me a checklist it is available for the above products. Thanks.

UD one releases on 11/9 and BD about a month later- gotta figure if guys like Kane, Backstrom & Angelo Espo make their teams out of camp- the rookie class will be pretty decent. Plus if you add in surprise guy like Staal and/or Stasny like this year it will help. Have no clue but suspect the checklist will not be out till late Sept or Oct. Training camps don't open till the week of 10 Sept-the key in my opinion is the production level not the RCs in the set- but a good combo of the two (05/06 UD one for example) makes an issue a winner........

i bought it thinking UD 1 may be a winner. plus, my favorite ex WBS Pen will be in it most likely (Carcillo). there looks to be a good rookie class this year, and if they dring Espo up for 9 games or whatever, that'd just be icing on the cake.

There is a regular-season cutoff date for whether they get RCs that year or the following one, similar to baseball (although actually baseball is similar to hockey in this regard because hockey started doing this first).
So the RCs in Victory and other early sets will be late-season callups from 06-07.

The rookies that appear in the set that play for 07-08 will not be released until a few weeks or even days before release. On the checklist website that now is unavailable, they had checklists within days to three weeks of the sell sheets and order forms available. My local hockey dealer who bought from a distributor usually had the checklists within one week of receiving the sell sheet and allowed his customers to see it during shows. He now has to purchase from another source. I know someone has a checklist for the inserts, base cards, and half of the rookies included in the product, since they were are on the sell sheets and promotional material.
