Default Teaser Gallery: Panini America Busts Three Boxes of 2012-13 Prime Hockey (Checklist)

Teaser Gallery: Panini America Busts Three Boxes of 2012-13 Prime Hockey (Checklist)
Aug 22nd 2013, 19:11, by Tracy Hackler

With the eagerly anticipated 2012-13 Prime Hockey now set to release in Canada tomorrow, we had to call an audible with this particular Panini America Teaser Gallery. Since the product won’t go live in the states until next Wednesday, our boxes aren’t slated to arrive at Panini America HQ until Monday morning — and for this product, that simply wouldn’t do.
So first thing this morning, I sent a text to Stephanie Carlson – Panini America’s Vice President of Production who typically starts her day at the company printing facility — asking (OK, begging) her to procure three boxes of 2012-13 Prime Hockey for us while she was there. Being the saintly woman that she is, Carlson obliged.

What follows, then, are the simply fantastic results of that effort: A three-box roller-coaster romp through one of the most enjoyable NHL trading card releases imaginable. As you’ll see, 2012-13 Prime Hockey looks to be more than capable of living up to — and surpassing — what have become extremely high expectations.
After the pack-by-pack gallery, stick around for the complete product checklist. Oh, and check back with The Knight’s Lance later tonight to watch a must-see Prime episode of Panini Unwrapped. Until then, enjoy . . .

Okay, I take it all back.....this stuff is getting better....

I mean that's an easy $350-400 of cards for the $630 bucks, only a $230 loss there, much better than last year.

Wonder what the Dominion packs will go for by themselves?

I echo this, it's been a while since I bought a hockey product, last year's Dominion to be exact. This looks good with the added Dominion packs but I'm not up to date on my hockey and am not sure who the top rookies to get would be.

The rookies is this class are not really what I would be looking for personally.

The 12/13 class has some good players, but since the lockout took place, every new player who had a debut was put in the 13/14 class. The 13/14 is a double rookie class. For that reason the 12/13 rookies are only those who debuted at the end of the last 82 game season.

Top rookies to look for in 12/13 are: Baertschi, Krieder, Schwartz, Allen, Krug, Zucker, Silvferberg.

Decent rookies are Barrie, Dillon, Nolan, Sheahan, Ashton, and Cizikas.
