Call me crazy but I like Zac Rinaldo, the kid plays a 'heavy' game and really put the screws to Lucic in the 1st period.

Milan has to suck it up and accept a good hit, if he gets played into those kind of penalties in the playoffs it's ultimately going to hurt the team.

Today is a testament to Claude's coaching as the B's are pretty much playing out the season yet they are playing this like a playoff game much respect to him and this team!

Congrats to Reilly Smith on getting the 7th Player Award it was much deserved!!

Agreed about Rinaldo. Not hall of fame pedigree, but he busts a$$ no matter what, and shows some skill here and there. Had a very nice cross ice feed to Couterier a few minutes ago.

What I like the most is no matter who challenges him he's up for the task, if you play that kind of physical game then you need to 'back' it up, and Rinaldo does just that.

So glad they did it at home, and very ready for the real season to start

Well now that the B's have officially clinched the Presidents Trophy it's time to wait and see who they will play in the 1st rd.

Nice to see Bergeron get his 30th today and hopefully he was just pulled for the 3rd period as there was not much left to play for. Tuukka was very solid and played his game even though this team has had to play a string of meaningless games.

Good to see that they have avoided any major injuries during this run as it appears Kelly will be ready when the playoffs begin.

Congrats to the 13-14 Bruins on earning the Presidents Trophy and home ice advantage throughout the playoffs!

GO B'S GO!!!!!!!!!!

Unlike other fan bases, Bruins fans just accept the fact they have to win 16 games regardless of who the competition may be. You have to beat the best to be the best.

Detroit is a good club who will challenge the B's in a 7 game series but ultimately the B's have the fire power and defense to win.

I do see some upsets in the 1st rd., and those teams have 'questionable' goaltending there's one team in particular who I feel fits that mold and it won't take long to see that!

In Tuukka we trust!!

I can easily see the B's losing to Detroit in the first round. Detroit is a dangerous team with plenty of tradition and winning games at the Joe will be a tremendous task.

Here's to a great series!

I won't agree with the 'easily' but as with any NHL playoff their is a better than average chance that a team like the Red Wings could pull off the win, I just think this Bruins team is probably the best balanced club they have had in the playoffs including the Cup winning team!!

What I see being the difference this year is the B's vastly improved PP, that just may be the improvement this team needs to take this series.

Wings are 3-1 against the Bruins this year, which surprised me the series price is so high on Vegas Bruins are -325 to win the series. I'll take the Wings.

The Pens were dominant against the B's last regular season as well...

It's looks like both Paille & Kelly will not be dressing for tonight's game as neither player participated in the optional skate this AM.

If indeed both players are out the likely replacements will be Jordan Caron & Justin Florek. The absence of both players will definitely have an impact on the B's penalty kill which is all the more reason this team needs to stay out of the box tonight!

I know it's 0-0 but doesn't it seem like th bruins have ran them ragged this period? I say that with caution being on the pk.

No. Evenly matched period. Good effort by both.

Not sure if it's the illness or the long layoff but Boston looks like they are skating in mud!

Lucic got away with a real classy move there. He should be proud.

Very close game so far.

Ouch, that stick between the legs from Lucic was pretty cheap.

Going to be a good series, but I really think Detroit wins it in 6.
