Default Brodeur, Teemu, Jagr HHOF class

Let's say all three (Brodeur, Selanne, Jagr) hang up the skates after this season and call it careers. Best HHOF class ever (inaugural years excluded)?

1983 (Hull, Mikita, Dryden) and 1972 (Beliveau, Geoffrion, Howe) would also be nominees;

I was going to post a thread about Teemu. One of the most underrated greats of all time.

1947 takes the cake IMO. Clapper, Joliat, Nighbor, Patrick, Shore, Taylor. Some of the greats of their respective era's, lots of names from the Silver Seven days as well. Don't know how any class could top this, but if they (along with possibly Alfredsson) retire this year, that would certainly be one of the better classes of all time.

EDIT: 1961 had a terrific class as well. Richard, Conacher, Apps, Hainsworth, and Schmidt. Both of those are very good HOF classes.

If those three end up going in together, it would be one heck of a class. Love all three players. I've been a huge fan of Jagr since I first got into hockey. I liked Teemu since his days on the Jets, but I really became a fan of his when he became a....sigh....Duck. Marty helped my Kings win a Cup, so he will always have a special place in my heart.

cant compare the inaugural classes because they had to pick people from 40 years of hockey.

Getting back the that trio's class, it would be amazing

That would be something special for sure. The only NHL game I got to go to this year featured all 3. Would make that memory that much more memorable.

Lindros was great but for too short of time. Not a HOF imo. That's my 5c

There are people in the HOF with less stats than Lindros only reason they are in is because of titles which is dumb.

Lindros is in the general category of guys like HOF'ers Pat LaFontaine and Pavel Bure. Maybe a slightly shorter career than those 2, but, all 3 are either HOF'ers or should be in Lindros' case, IMO
If Paul Kariya gets in soon, and Lindros is waiting still...That would be a rough omission...
