05/06 Hockey Products

Not sure if anyone noticed or not, but for some reason the prices are really starting to jump up on SP Authentic and ICE. I guess its a good thing I held on to mine even when you couldn't even sell a case for less than $900.00 6 months ago. Anyone know why the all of a sudden interest in this product? I Do realize it has Crosby/Ovechkin, but why all of a sudden now the interest.

I think it partially has to do with the kind of year AO is having. It seems until now, people haven't recognized how great this guy has been and will be. It may also have something to do with the fact that the Penguins have a legitmate chance at reaching the finals this year. Obviously, Crosby was part of the 05-06 class, but so were Talbot and Whitney. Not to mention, you have other guys like Vanek and Phaneuf among others who have become bonafide stars in the league and are now important pieces of playoff teams (M. Latendresse, M. Richards, C. Ward, etc.). I don't know, that's just my take on it.

I think that those are two of the crappy 05/06 UD Hockey products. There are only a select few of 05/06 UD products I would buy anymore.
