See id be okay with that if he went after another goon. Not sure the guy he hit is considered a fighter.

Cooke isnt a goon. Goons dont have millions of dollars. The only exception to that statement is mark dayton

Not a loss at all for the wild if hes suspended
I'm sure Todd Bertuzzi didn't mean to injure Steve Moore either. Sending a message is one thing, purposefully taking out a player at the knees is another. I will admit I am biased though. I just don't like the guy and hated it every second since the Wild had announced signing him.

Dummbass comment of the month right there. Don't you kids have a Bieber site or Miley playalong site you can waste time on?

Montreal fans, at least a good portion of them, are as obnoxious as any in sports.

This. Let them go play at NHL.com or some other place.

Yeah, good thing they'll be out next round.

Think they are top of the world after this joke of a series.
Should really be down 2-1 in the series.

Well, I think they've played well actually, but I agree, they've been the beneficiary of plenty of questionable calls. As have the Pens, so I won't say anymore.

It's a shame, as I live 65 miles south of MTL, by far the closest franchise, and kind of wished I like them. But those fans, just can't make myself one of them! Lol, not sure if any of this makes sense.

Huge night in the East tonight.

Wow I have not seen Detroit play this sloppy in years!! This series is over if they don't settle down and clean up their play.

It's odd. I know a fair number of Habs fans and have been to many games in Montreal (NHL with a Leafs jersey, MLB with Blue Jays gear, MLS cheering for Toronto FC) and have been treated very well. CFL fans in Montreal that I've dealt with were also very nice.

That being said, as a whole I hate Montreal fans and find them incredibly arrogant and obnoxious.

I've met plenty of polite and friendly Habs fans, too. I've worn Pittsburgh jerseys to the Bell Centre and have been treated well. But as you said, a good majority are just that; arrogant and obnoxious.

Side note: Most disrespectful and classless fans I've ever experienced in person were the people at the Scotiabank Place in Ottawa. Never been told I was going to have my throat slit while I wasn't on duty before that (I'm a police officer). Saw a group of 3 people there talking trash to a 7-9 year old kid wearing a Crosby jersey. Class, right?

Gustavsson deserves a shot in Game 4 depending on how Howard starts off. He's embarrassing in the playoffs.

IDK man. I've seen him play better, but he hasn't had much help in front of him.

I admire how TB battled tonight, but I also give MTL credit for a great series. But yeah, I can only imagine how badly their fans are already running their mouths.

Unfortunately, my uncle is one of the super confident Habs fans.

You're probably right, but right now your comments just sound like sour grapes.

Not sure what team you like, but the Canadiens have certainly put to shame the rest of the Canadian franchises. I have been listening to Leafs fans trashing them all week, when the next meaningful games any of them play won't even be on this continent.

Good, glad you"re not a Leafs fan! I actually dislike Montreal, rooting for Chicago.

Agreed, Cooper made a terrible decision sticking with Lindback. Couldn't stop anything high, and went down way too early on everything.

I go to around ten Sens games a year and it sure as hell isn't for the atmosphere (well, seven of them aren't. The three Leaf games are fun!). The two lower tiers are full of old, stuck-up pain-in-the-asses and the opposing team's fans, and the upper tier is either empty, full of drunks, full of kids, or a combination of the three. The tickets are dirt cheap, but the experience is often less than pleasant.

It's a shame. Ottawa is one of the best hockey cities in the world, 67's (OHL) and junior games are always fun, bring in great crowds, and are terrific examples of the game at its best (seriously, I would venture to say 67's home games at the Civic Centre are the best junior hockey games in North America). For whatever reason (I would imagine it's arena location), Sens game are horrible to attend and could certainly turn people off of the game. Melnyk is a horrible owner, the Corel Centre is in a terrible location and is a terrible building, and it really brings in the worst of the worst.
