Anyone going to break Superbox?
So.....Superbox is bringing its act to hockey.
4 boxes in a case at 2949.95, boxes at 774.95 so each pack (1 card) costs just over $129.
Blurry sell sheet shows a couple auto Gretzky RCs, but mainly a bunch of Panini Prime hits.......so you know what my answer is.
At $129, I can be buying Howe and Orr autos all day.
Just curious on what the rest of the hockey guys think.

My COMC port is always for sale. Almost all, if not all, the cards are the lowest price listed on COMC and my asking price is 60% OBO of the total listed prices. Contact me for current total asking price.

i'm a sucker for buyback products, so i tried a box. i'd say all of your instincts are right. my advice... either avoid it completely or proceed with low expectations.
if their sell sheet is accurate there are a few solid hits in the product, but those hits were made possible by lots and lots of junk.
here's a breakdown of my 6 not-so-super packs...
Colin Wilson, prime colors /20
Sateri/Pavelski, prime dual /25
Brad Marchand, dominion /60
TJ Brennan, dominion /199
Gilbert Perreault, prime /99
Jonathon Blum, prime/199
Wayne Gretzky, 1984 OPC auto psa/dna
Alexander Burmistrov, Cup /249
Adam Larsson, prime colors /23
Reilly Smith, limited /499
Justin Faulk, dominion /25
Elliott/Quick/Lundqvist, prime /150

i won't complain about a Gretzky auto but it sucks when the big hit won't even pay for a pack.
clearly they stocked up on dominion and prime... so lots of that to be found.
like anything it's a gamble. someone out there will pull the big hits and love it... most will get stuff like this.
good luck to anyone who tries it.
