There has been a little discussion about this, but what would you prefer, UD Black Hockey or The Cup hockey? We don't know which one is coming out, if they are coming out, but it's an interesting thought.
Those who have purchased The Cup in the past know what we are in for, but what would UD Black mean for the hobby? Would Black be a better buy if it have 1 or 2 Group A autos in it? I'm almost leaning in favor of UD Black. What do you think?

I think it depends on how extensive the level "A" autos are. I would imagine it would include people like Gretzky, Lemieux, Howe, Crosby, Ovechkin but I'd be curious to see who else might be on that list. I know for example that in basketball they included Durant to the "A" list. Does that mean that people like Price, Kane and Toews to the hockey "A" list?
If UD were to follow the UD Black basketball template, then I'd definitely be interested in this product. On the other hand, if it were to follow the baseball template, I'd stay way away from it. |

I thought everyone would like to know that on UD's NPN they have 2007/08 The Cup hockey listed now. I guess that would mean it is a go for sure!!!!
