I will be in Frankenmuth/birch run that night so will have to watch from a hotel.

I wish Franzen didnt miss those games, he would have won the Conn Smythe hands down...I would have to say Ozzy or Lidstrom should get it right now...ya Zetty's been doing everything on the ice, but it should be Ozzy because he's stopping everything left and right or Lidstrom because of his incredible defense/leadership and helping Ozzy in goal

I too wish I could be at the Joe monday but definately not paying for those seats! I used my money wisely and picked up a 00-01 UD Chris Osgood Red Wings Auto/Jersey card for $11.95 total instead tonight

Anyone read about the Detroit fan who tossed the octipi on the ice before the game. He got kicked out... but he out smarted those security guards. Changed his clothes and had an extra ticket into the game, so he made his way right back into the game. That is a fan if I have ever seen one. They need to have that guy on the ice Monday night twirling that octipi.... of I mean bring that octipi to the zamboni entrance and twirl it as I dont want anything to get in Sid the Kid's eye.

"They scored 2 goals, we scored 1...so I dont think they're running away with it"

ya the Wings definately arent running away with anything scoring more goals than their competitor...makes no sense to me

Matt you gotta love Crosby's stupid comments. This one was great, but I still like the......they haven't had that many opportunities on us. Yeah you know we don't have that many opportunities......just enough to be outscoring them in 3 of 4 games.

How's that drink from the cup taste Matt? Today's the day for what??? Detroit may still win, but it looks like you two along with the wings were counting your chickens before they were hatched. Fleury made Osgood look silly last night. If Osgood is on the Pens, that game is over in the first OT.

If Fleury was not playing out of his mind that game would not have made overtime.

That being said at 5:00 minutes left they showed that dipshit keeper of the cup take the cup out of its suitcase and start to polish it.

Boo, are the Blackhawks even relevant? If it weren't for their 2 rookies this year I would have almost forgot that they were even a franchise.

Anyways, don't lump us all together like that. Solt and I have been the only one defending the Pen's in this series for the most part. While I may not agree with some of the thing he has said, you are wrong when you say we only speak up when we win a game.

I would have posted had I not been out of town. I believe I posted that somewhere along the way that I would not be near a computer until Sunday night.

I am worried about the Wings and not the Hawks, my point is, don't take shots at fans if you don't know the whole story. That and some of the Wings fans on here have been incredibly obnoxious (will not name names and I'm not referring to the steady posters) and whats the point of having a 2 against 10 argument over a hockey game?

I have to say the PENS without Fleury last night were done. He had one hell of a game and thats what makes ya or breaks ya this time of the year. I am a diehard Wings fan, but have to say that this series going 7 games would be the best thing to happen for the NHL, as long as the WINGS win... LOL

I think the Pens should sign Hossa and Malone and let Malkin go after this year as a restricted free agent and receive compensation for him. If they let Hossa and Malone go, they receive nothing and could still lose Malkin in the years to come.

Does anyone know what the Pens would receive if another team takes a restricted free agent?

With the draft picks the team would lose in picking him up and then the money he will request is going to be tuff for any team in the salary cap era to go for it. Could only see someone taking him if he was unrestricted as I believe as a restricted you lose draft picks for him.
